About Us

Public sector organizations and traditionally underserved groups, such as Native American communities, K-12 schools, and nursing homes, are vital to the fabric of our society. Their work is essential for the well-being and progress of our communities. However, as technology becomes increasingly integral to their operations, these organizations face growing threats, including data breaches, system misconfiguration, phishing attacks, and other forms of cybercrime. Many of these groups lack the resources to secure their digital operations. The University of Oregon Cyber Risk Clinic is dedicated to empowering public sector organizations and underserved communities to use technology to fulfill their missions, defend against digital threats, and build digital capabilities so they can continue to serve and protect our digital world.
